Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center
PVHMC called on Holmes & Co. for a brand building campaign. Account planning research
uncovered a nearly universal desire among patients, prospective patients,
and family members: “Don't abandon me, talk to me, listen to me.”
From that research we created external and internal marketing materials
built from the creative strategy “Understanding health care”.
The result?
Overall awareness increased from 49% to 56%,
rating as “best hospital” increased from 22% to 26%, “best physicians”
rating increased from 19% to 27%, rating for “best technology improved
from 25% to 30%, “best obstetrics services” from 22% to 30%,
“best outpatient services” from 21% to 31%, “best emergency services”
22% to 31%, “familiarity with services from 45% to 50%, and overall
market share grew from 20% to 26%.
